The 2 bedroom cabin at Salt Bayou Kampground sleeps a family or a group of friends without anyone drawing the short straw on where to sleep. You get two bedrooms, a living space to gather in, and easy access to everything on the grounds: the pool, mini golf, big chess, the swing set, and a kayak launch for mornings on the water. Fishing's right here too. The coin laundry and bath house keep longer stays easy. Slidell puts you close to Honey Island Swamp tours, Fontainebleau State Park, and a short drive over the lake to New Orleans. All ages are welcome, and we're open year-round. There's just one two-bedroom cabin on the property, so dates tend to fill up fast. Give us a call or book online and we'll have it ready when you pull in.
