The two-bedroom guest house at Salt Bayou Kampground gives you the whole place to yourselves, with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living area that fills up fast with card games and coffee. There's only one guest house on the property, so it books up with families, fishing groups, and anyone spending a longer stretch in Slidell. Step outside and you're minutes from the kayak launch, the fishing spots, the pool, mini golf, big chess, and the swing set for the kids. New Orleans is a short drive west, and the Honey Island Swamp tours, local seafood joints, and Lake Pontchartrain are all close by. We're open year-round on Highway 433.
